Maria and Griff Get Married - The documentary

Maria and Griff enter the Wedding Reception

Maria and Griff enter the beautiful Wedding Reception where a lots wonderful surprises awaited them

williams family

Maria's Parents Doug & Lori Williams and Grandparents Bud & Dolores Anthony

Its been a journey of joy working on the documentary “Maria and Griff Get Married.” Part one of the documentary was shown at the great Wedding Reception last night at Herban Feast in the Sodo section of Seattle. Stacy Kvam and her team did a fantastic job in organizing the wedding. Over the past few weeks I have interviewed several members of both Maria’s and Griff’s family. Since Griff is from Texas, I interviewed his mom and brother over the phone, and then several of his friends and family at last night’s reception. The video has been a secret to the Bride and groom so I hadn’t met them until last night. Everything went perfect. It was great to also meet some of Maria’s cousins who flew in from Germany and a lot of Griff’s friends in from Austin, Texas. LeRoy Nosbaum -- CEO & Chairman of Itron

LeRoy Nosbaum -- CEO & Chairman of Itron

It was a beautiful day as we drove through Spokane, Washington on our way to Liberty Lakes. We were looking for the Headquarters to Iron, the world's leading producer of electronic meters used by the utilities industries. We had an appointment to interview Chairman of the Board, LeRoy Nosbaum, for our new documentary "CEOs of Seattle."

LeRoy and his team were very hospitable to myself and my crew. The interview went well.

LeRoy was very inspiring in his committment to excellence and his focus on doing the right thing. He told me about the importance of working hard for his investors, his employees, and his customers. LeRoy is a top notch leader who has successfully moved his company into huge positive growth over the years. I learned alot during my interview with LeRoy Nosbaum.

Melinda Partin - CEO of Worktank

Melinda Partin - CEO of Worktank

It was a warm day as I carried my tripod, some lights, and a HD camera over to the Worktank office on the waterfront in downtown Seattle. I was there to interview the CEO, Melinda Partin, for a part in our new documentary "CEOs of Seattle."

Melinda was great. She gave me a terrific interview. Melinda comes from a long heritage of family entrepreneurs. She started her company about ten years ago, specializing in creative advertising for small or big organizations. Melinda talked about her management philosophy of collaboration. She talked about her belief in total integrity and how she really cares for her people. Melinda talked about her proud moments as a leader and her true enthusiasm for the future. I was very impressed with meeting Melinda. She really cares about people.

Alex Wasserman & Dave Johnson -- CEOs of Elite Fitness

Alex Wasserman & Dave Johnson -- Elite Fitness

I was deeply inspired by my interview with Alex and Dave from Elite Fitness.  They came over to our Inventive Productions studios to be interviewed on the Green Screen for my new documentary film, "CEOs of Seattle."  Alex and Dave are so confident, so strong in their leadership focus, that they were a perfect interview for our film.  They talked about the importance of attitude, teamwork, and integrity in creating a successful business.  Alex and Dave discussed the importance of being passionate about your vocation and it won't become work.  They love what they do, they get trememdous satisfaction from seeing the happy results from their clients.  These guys are a terrific example of what is best in the CEOs of Seattle.

Bert Gregory -- "CEOs of Seattle" documentary

              Bert Gregory of Mithun

It was a little rainy that morning in downtown Seattle.  I drove down onto the waterfront and parked under the Alaskan Viaduct.    I had an appointment with Bert Gregory of Mithun.  Their offices are located right on the Pier on the waterfront.   Immediately I noticed the great architecture inside the offices, with very tall open ceilings.  I was there to interview Bert for my documentary, "CEOs of Seattle."  Mithun is one of the leading architecture firms in the nation focusing on the concepts predominantly known today as "GREEN" or sustainability.    The interview was a bit unusual because all the architects and employees in the office worked in one giant open room.  There were no private offices or conference rooms to shoot the interview.  So we set up a spot right in the middle of the room and did the interview.  Bert did a super job in the interview.  I learned a lot about his leadership philosophies and management style.  You can learn more about Bert and Mithun at http://www.mithun.com
